Patient Portals

We want to partner with you to provide expert guidance and tools for you to take an active role in your health care. Mercy Health and Mercy Health Physician Partners offer you two separate Patient Portals. Because each portal offers different health care information, we strongly encourage each patient to acquire log in information for both Patient Portals. Our Patient Portals are free and available to use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

myDoctorsOffice Patient Portal

The new myDoctor's Office portal provides information about your health and allows you to communicate with your doctor's office:

  • Enroll via a smartphone or email invitation
  • Schedule or request appointments
  • Send a message to your care team
  • View test results and health information
  • Request prescription refills
  • View account statements and pay bills
  • Grant access to a family member
  • Select appointment reminders by email, phone or text message
  • Need help adding a family member or appointed representative to your portal account? Please print and fill out the Patient Portal Delegate form and return it to your Doctor's office.

Log in above or request a free access code at your next office visit. Instructions for login available below:

Enroll via Smartphone

  • Receive text and open the link
  • Enter temporary password you received at sign up. (This password will expire in 6 hours)
  • Enter your new password. (This will be your permanent password)

Invitation Email

  • Open the myDoctor's Office portal email invitation. Click on the link to create your account.
  • Verify your identity by selecting Call or Text
  • Retrieve your temporary password from the phone call or text message. Enter the temporary password.
  • The Set Password page will appear. Enter your new password. (This will be your permanent password.)

MyHospital Patient Portal

The "Mercy Health Hospital Patient Portal" offers you information about hospital services you have received from any of our Mercy Health hospitals:

  • Laboratory test results
  • Health history
  • Immunization history
  • Medication list
  • Procedures
  • Discharge instructions
  • Health record summary
  • Visit care summary
  • Ability to pay your bill
  • You may grant access to your Patient Advocate

How to Get Started

Currently, registration requires an in-person visit to a Mercy Health location such as a hospital or lab for security purposes.

Technical Support

If you are experiencing trouble logging in to your account or are experiencing other technical issues, call 1-800-324-8163. Support staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To update your home address or phone number, please call one of our hospitals: In Grand Rapids, call 616-685-4000, option 2 and in the Muskegon/Lakeshore area, call 231-672-3713.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 and do not use online messaging.
